🏆 Best Single Varietal White 🏆
-Melbourne Royal Wine Awards 2021
It’s nicely done. It has flavour, it has texture, it has freshness. Citrus, lemon mostly, with stonefruit in solid support. There’s a whisper of seaspray here too, just a whisper. It’s both perfumed and dry. It has that kind of gentle/dry/semi-savoury sophistication that makes drinking it a joy.

From Ricca Terra farms in the Riverland of South Australia, this wine is the palest of pale lemon in the glass and has gorgeously pretty aromas of jasmine and mandarin blossom, lime zest and white peach. It is juicy and textural but balanced with a lovely line of acidity, and the lime and jasmine flavours linger on. You could easily enjoy a few glasses before lunch but it’s super food-friendly too: perfect for some antipasto of prosciutto & chilled rockmelon in the sunshine. Delish.

Fresh and bright and so delicious.

Spring in your step, energy, vibrancy. This the common theme with this version of vermentino. So excited to see this variety thriving on Australian shores. From nose to palate this wine is literally singing a loud song out of the glass – ripe limes, soft kiwi fruit, white pepper. The mouth coating palate is lit up by bold citrus components – more pink grapefruit vibes here, and it has this classic salty purity & texture that makes for one harmonious finish. A wine to keep coming back to, a wine I’d happily sip solo, but if you had some pacific oysters handy I’m definitely in, no dressing needed!

Attractive, fresh lemon and white-peachy nose with genuine fruit-focused appeal. The palate has juicy yet quite soft and appealing flavor. Enough acidity to carry it fresh on the finish and make an easy-drinking, fresh dry white.
