WINEMAKER COMMENTS

It is hard to resist a glass of bubbles! We particularly love the balance in this wine with fresh apples and strawberries, a creamy texture and soft yet ever-present acidity.

We had the great pleasure of working with Adelaide artist, Leah Grant, for the artwork for our Sparkling label. Learn more about the artwork and inspiration for the label on our blog.

– Cheers, Jules

Winemaking

Season a season peppered with a few rain events ensured healthy vines leading into vintage. Fortunately this vineyard escaped any damage from hail where neighbouring vineyards were hit early in the ripening period. The easterly facing slope allowed gentle and gradual flavour development with the Pinot Noir portion on higher and more exposed ground developing the vibrant red fruited portion of the blend.
Winemaking A blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Co-fermentation followed by extended time on lees for the duration of malolactic fermentation. The stabilised wine went through secondary fermentation in tank before finishing touches were added as a dosage prior to bottling.

A bright fresh and fruity sparkling wine with some nice red berry and lemon aromas. Bright acidity and lively mousse. - JamesSuckling.com
I love a good glass of bubbles, and this wine is simply delicious with a really affordable price point. What more could you want as we head into warmer weather? This wine would be perfect for a catchup with friends, or simply on the couch with a big bowl of popcorn. Your choice on whether or not you want to share it! The great thing about the Small Victories NV Sparkling is the wine has spent some time on lees which gives it a hint of that yummy brioche and creamy notes you get in Champagne without the price point. On the nose, there’s strawberry and brioche, and the palate is packed full of vibrant green apples. The palate itself has a hint of creaminess that balances out the vibrant acidity and creates a beautiful texture. Sip after sip, this sparkling wine delivers flavour. There’s not much more to say other than it is absolutely stunning! - Ella, thecheekyvino.com, @thecheekyvino
Expansively bubbly, this Adelaide Hills Chardonnay and Pinot Noir blend is fragrant with lemon peel, white flowers and a minerality you’d expect from a cool climate sparkler. It’s zesty and zingy on the palate, with a savoury steeliness at the finish that adds lots of interest, and leads you to thoughts of briny molluscs and white anchovies or salty whitebait at a table set for an al fresco lunch, with jasmine imbued in the warm breeze. -Melissa Moore on winepilot.com
