We are lucky to get to do what we love every day. So a key part of Small Victories Wine Co is giving back to the community.
We decided early on that we would like to partner with community organisations or charities, with a portion of tasting fees at Cellar Door to be donated to these organisations. And with every wine purchase you are making a difference as we also donate a portion of each bottle sold.
INTRODUCING OUR COMMUNITY PARTNERS FOR 2024-25
This financial year we have chosen South Australian based charities as our community partners – Meals on Wheels (SA) and Animal Welfare League of South Australia.
Learn a little more about our community partners and the work they do:
Meals on Wheels (SA)
Meals on Wheels South Australia transforms lives by delivering more than just nutritious meals; they deliver smiles, companionship, and peace of mind. For those who struggle with cooking or feel isolated, Meals on Wheels steps in as a lifeline, providing delicious meals and friendly visits. It’s not just about food – it’s about fostering connections and ensuring everyone has someone looking out for them.
Our Digital Marketing Manager, Jess, is super excited about this partnership as she volunteers with a local branch once a month to deliver meals in the community. Jess really enjoys the conversations she has with people while doing deliveries, everything from football to the latest events at Senior Citizens and even plant identification!
A word from Meals on Wheels (SA):
“Standing for ‘seriously delicious wines’, it made perfect sense for Small Victories to support Meals on Wheels SA, who provide seriously delicious food! Supporting Meals on Wheels SA, means supporting to keep the cost of meals affordable, so that everyone that would benefit from a nutritious meal and a
well-being check can receive their services.”
– Vicki Moll, Meals on Wheels (SA)
Proudly Supporting
Animal Welfare League of South Australia
As one of South Australia’s oldest and largest animal shelters, Animal Welfare League takes in over 3,500 lost and abandoned animals every year. The generosity of compassionate animal lovers in the community provides these animals with shelter, food, vet care and love, meaning AWL can rehabilitate and rehome them to loving families where they can live out their days as a beloved family pet. We are bolstered by the community’s support of our pet cremations and pet boarding facilities, as well as our op shops where animal lovers can shop for a bargain on pre-loved items.
A word from Animal Welfare League of South Australia:
“Not many people realise this, but the thousands of lost, sick and abandoned animals who come through our doors each year rely entirely on the compassion of the SA community. The generosity shown by Small Victories towards animals in need will mean food, shelter and vet care for some of South Australia’s most vulnerable animals, giving them a safe place to stay while they wait to meet their pawfect families and be adopted into their furever homes.”
– Paul Miller, Animal Welfare League of South Australia
