And there are lots of events, workshops and more we’re interested in checking out ourselves. Today we’re going to share a few of the things we are looking forward to during the Festival.

What is the Barossa Arts Festival?

“The Barossa Arts Festival is a biennial event celebrating colour, creativity and culture. It brings together the best artists from across South Australia for a month long festival of interactive workshops, classes, music and art events.”

What we’ve picked from the Barossa Arts Festival Program

I would love to attend the ‘Charcoal Drawing Amongst The Vines’ workshop being held at the beautiful St Hugo, and ensure I stay for lunch too! Such a unique artform, that I would be intrigued to revisit after originally doing it back in my high school art days… Am sure I am no better, but a fun opportunity to try!
– Karli, Small Victories Brand Manager

I’m going to check out the current ‘PLACE’ exhibition at Wonderground – a contemporary art gallery and cellar door overlooking rolling hills and vineyards in Seppeltsfield. I have been wanting to visit this transformed century-old farmhouse, by some very talented local Barossa artists, since its opening last year!
– Bec, Small Victories Owner

My daughter is booked in for a Creative Watercolour Workshop for kids and is very excited about it. Perfect timing for the school holidays! I am also looking forward to going to our local Kapunda Community Gallery for the current exhibition.
