A damn classy pedigree of family winemaking talent going on right here. Lots of varietal expression in this wine too. Delicate aromas – nectarine alongside lemon pith, elderflower and orange blossom. The palate begins intimately but builds with texture across the tongue with those lifted stone fruits mellowing out the refreshing acid drive. Definitely in the gris spectrum when it comes to mouth feel and framework with some leesy goodness against the slightly underripe stone fruits. Super drinking here and I think it’s about time for some battered fish & chips on the beach or in the park (for 5 people!).

The grapes for this pinot gris are sourced from the region of Balhannah in the Adelaide Hills, producing a pale and crystal-clear liquid. It has charming gardenia and lemon peel aromas backed up by a savoury oyster shell minerality, and on the palate there’s textural weight but it’s also power-packed with the juicy flavour of lemon sherbet, kinda like a retro Refresher lolly, but it’s all in equilibrium. And then on the finish is a lovely chalky,
zesty memento, an invitation to have another sip. This pinot gris manages to find the sweet spot: it’s dry and crisp, yet has enough weight to seduce. Butterflied garlic prawns on the bbq and a chilled bottle of this would go
down quite the treat!

This has attractive fresh pear and apple, as well as sweet spring-blossom florals that lead to a gently creamy palate, thanks to some gentle winemaking overlay. Acidity claims the finish in a fresh, lively mode.

...simply delightful to drink and the kind of wine you could happily enjoy without having to think too much about it. It is just tasty! The wine is nice and fresh with zesty notes and a vibrant palate, but a nice textural finish.

Refreshing acidity, light and crunchy body with a salty touch that makes this wine deliciously balanced... This Pinot Gris is a great find and is great value for money!
